The Fit Frustrated
You’re putting clothes on… and taking them straight back off again.
The Fit Frustrated wardrobe type usually sounds like at least one of these:
“I used to feel good in this.”
“Why does nothing sit right anymore?”
“Maybe I just need to lose a bit of weight.”
“I hate getting dressed.”
“Everything feels clingy / awkward / wrong.”

It makes sense why this is happening...
COMMON CAUSES OF THIS WARDROBE TYPE:
• pregnancy, menopause, illness, weight change
• clothes that technically fit but don’t flatter your proportions
• trying to force old favourites to work on a new body
• buying based on size labels instead of fit and cut
• foundation pieces (bras, trousers, jeans) that aren’t supporting you properly
😓 COMMON MISTAKES THAT MAKE THIS WORSE:
• blaming your body instead of the fit
• keeping things that make you feel uncomfortable “just in case”
• avoiding changing rooms entirely
• panic-buying something stretchy and oversized
• thinking confidence will magically come back when your body changes
There are a few key elements to dressing the body you have now (which I teach properly inside Joyfully Dressed).
But for today, try this:
Choose one item that makes you feel uncomfortable within 30 seconds of putting it on.
Give yourself permission to stop trying to make it work.
One better-fitting piece can change everything.
