Let’s talk nails.

Because there’s something deeply joyful about seeing a pop of colour at the end of your fingertips. Honestly, it’s one of my favourite things about knowing my colour season my nails always work, no matter what I’m wearing.

And maybe I love it even more because, in my old job, I wasn’t allowed to wear nail varnish at all. So now? The chance to paint my nails in bright, happy colours feels like the tiniest act of rebellion and it makes me so happy every single time.

Here are some gorgeous nail colours for summer, perfectly suited to each season:

🌸 Spring Seasons – Try peachy corals, soft watermelon pink, mint green, or a pop of buttercup yellow. Fresh, playful and full of light.

Please note some of these are affiliate links.

🌼 Summer Seasons – Go for cool-toned pastels like lavender, powder blue, rosy pink or a classic soft white.

🍁 Autumn Seasons – Burnt orange, terracotta, olive green or a rich mustard. Earthy tones still work in summer, especially with bronzed skin and gold jewellery.

❄️ Winter Seasons – High contrast and high drama! Think cherry red, electric fuchsia or even a cobalt blue.

Nails are such a low-stakes way to play with colour, no fitting rooms, no fuss. Just a tiny moment of “me time” that adds a little lift to your everyday look. A lot of these are quick drying as well, which means you can change your mind as often as you want about the colour that you are wearing.

🫶 Today’s affirmation: “I deserve to feel polished—even in the smallest ways.”
