Matching Christmas PJs
One of my favourite things about Christmas is how every family has their own little rituals, those tiny traditions that make the season feel uniquely theirs. I love hearing how differently we all celebrate.
In our house, one of those traditions is giving the kids Christmas pyjamas on Christmas Eve. It started a few years ago as a simple way to ramp up the excitement for the big day, and now it’s become something they look forward to as much as leaving out the mince pie.
We haven’t gone full matching family PJs just yet, but this week I found myself wondering… why not? If the kids get their festive PJs, there’s no reason Santa can’t treat the adults too. Matching sets feel like one of those silly-but-magical things that make the season even more joyful, and honestly, I’m fully on board with adding a little extra fun where we can.
P.S. I’ve well and truly abandoned trying to organise everything into colour seasons for this Joydrop. Festive pj’s seem to exist in their own world of classic Christmas red and green, so I think we have to full on embrace it!
