Merry People boots

I’ve seen a LOT of people chatting about Merry People boots in the Facebook group recently (and I know there was loads of chat about them last year too 👀). I’m toying with getting a pair myself for this winter, so I thought I’d have a quick look on their website and see which colours I’d pick out for each season. 🌈
But first, here’s what some of you have said about them in the group:
💬 “Run don’t walk to buy the Merry People wellies if you’re considering them. They fit my wide feet, don’t impinge my plantar fasciitis, and my feet have never been so dry and warm.” – Maddy
💬 “I have rust and love them as a neutral — they’re so comfortable. I even got the kids’ ones for my little ones!” – Chantal
💬 “I find them a bit heavy for everyday wear but perfect in place of wellies. I vote for tan — very flexible.” – Jo
My top picks for each season:
Spring
Summer
Autumn
Winter
Merry People boots are great, but they are definitely on the pricier side. A few people in the group have mentioned grabbing the Barbour Mallow boots instead, which are a really similar Chelsea-boot style. They’ve got a slightly less colourful aesthetic, but the same practical waterproof vibe, and at a lower price point too.
And I saw these fab and rather fun options in Boden for £69.
