You’re allowed to wear the nice dress on an ordinary day
I know our emails have been talking about this a lot this month, but sometimes we just need the reminder written down somewhere.
Joyfully Dressed is about so many things: colour, confidence and feeling more like ourselves.
But, just as the name suggests, it’s also about dressing in a way that brings a little more joy into our day.
And sometimes, that joy is as simple as wearing the thing you love, even if loving it has somehow made it feel too special for every day.
But you are allowed to wear the nice dress on an ordinary day.
You don’t need a special occasion, a lunch booked or somewhere important to go.
Wear it to work from home. Wear it on the school run. Wear it to the supermarket.
Your ordinary days are still part of your life. They are worthy of the clothes that make you feel good too.
So consider this your permission slip: wear the nice dress.
