Cosy marled knit + jeans+ neutral coat + ivory boots
This is suitable for a summer season
Sometimes you want an outfit that feels a bit more put together, and this is when a cosy knit, great jeans and a pair of heeled boots is such a winning combination. The knit keeps things relaxed and wearable, while the boots just elevate everything ever so slightly. It’s that sweet spot between casual and polished — perfect for a nice lunch or a slow mooch around the shops.
I’m not normally a huge fan of very neutral coats, but this grey coat is different. The texture gives it so much interest. It stops it feeling flat or bland, and suddenly a simple grey becomes something you’ll reach for over and over again.
When I’m wearing a patterned or colourful knit, I like to pull the outfit together by taking the colours from the jumper and letting that guide the rest. This beautiful marled knit does all the heavy lifting. The soft blues, muted pinks and gentle berry tones mean you can keep the rest of the look calm and tonal. The pale denim keeps things light and effortless, the grey coat adds that classic Summer softness, and the blue scarf echoes the cooler tones in the jumper without competing.

Body shape adaptations:
Hourglass - Front-tuck the knit or half-tuck to define your waist. If you need more shape, swap the fluffy coat for a slightly more structured one that nips in at the waist.
Triangle - This outfit already brings attention upward with the soft colours. Keep the jeans clean and simple. If the ivory boots feel too light, swap for a darker pair.
Circle - Just do a front tuck.If the jeans feel too rigid, swap for a softer straight-leg pair of jeans or trousers that skim.
Rectangle - Create definition with a small front-tuck or a slim base layer under the knit. If you want more curve, look for a coat with gentle shaping instead of a boxy one.
Inverted Triangle - The wide-leg jeans are perfect for balancing proportions. If the knit feels too busy, swap for a slightly plainer one in a similar Summer shade.
